About Abby Care: Powering the future of care at home for all of America.
Abby Care is building the leading AI-native platform for family-led care. America is facing a growing care crisis. Millions more people need care at home than ever. Over 50 million family caregivers support loved ones without the tools, training, or recognition they deserve.
We believe families are the largest untapped caregiving workforce in America, and that technology can help them deliver better care while driving stronger outcomes and greater transparency across the healthcare system.
Abby Care combines clinical oversight with an AI-powered platform to train, enable, and support family caregivers in delivering high-quality care at home. Our platform helps health plans and government partners better understand, verify, and improve care in the home. We expand access to care, reduce reliance on higher-cost settings, and help ensure public dollars are spent effectively.
We are proud to partner with leading health plans, providers, and community organizations and are backed by top VCs. We envision a future where family-led care is a core part of the healthcare system. Abby Care is building that future.
Join us in solving one of the most important challenges of our time.
The Role
We’re hiring a Strategy & Operations Manager — Platform Ops to help design and scale the operational infrastructure that powers AbbyCare’s growth across onboarding, support, care delivery, and new market launches.
This is a highly cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of Operations, Product, Systems, and Innovation. You’ll own a combination of operational tooling, workflow design, automation, and strategic operational initiatives — partnering closely with Product, Operations, Analytics, and Leadership to identify operational friction, redesign workflows, pilot new operational models, and operationalize new initiatives across the business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys moving fluidly between systems, workflows, strategy, and execution, and who wants to help shape how a fast-growing healthcare company scales.

Build and maintain workflow automations and lightweight internal operational tools
Partner with BizApps and Engineering to improve cross-system workflows and operational reliability
Improve visibility into operational bottlenecks, workflow failures, and support trends
Product Operations & Workflow Design
Partner closely with Product and Operations teams to identify operational pain points and workflow gaps
Translate real-world operational workflows into scalable processes, tooling requirements, and automation opportunities
Conduct “ground truth” operational research to understand how work is actually happening across teams and markets
Support pilots and workflow experiments to validate new operational models before broader rollout
Strategic Initiatives & Incubation
Support launch readiness and operationalization for new markets, service lines, and operational initiatives
Help drive high-priority cross-functional projects spanning Operations, Product, Analytics, and Care Delivery
Assist in designing scalable playbooks and workflows for emerging business initiatives
Contribute to AI-forward operational initiatives and workflow automation efforts across the company
Enablement & Operational Scaling
Build documentation, training materials, and knowledge systems to improve operational consistency
Help establish scalable operational processes as AbbyCare grows across markets and service lines
Partner cross-functionally to operationalize new workflows, pilots, and support models
Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and improve execution through better systems and process design
The Requirements
Experience
6+ years in Strategy & Operations, BizOps, Product Ops, Platform Ops, Operations, or similar cross-functional roles
Experience implementing or managing operational systems and tooling
Experience building or supporting workflow automations and operational processes
Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
Systems & Operational Thinking
Strong systems thinker who enjoys improving how work gets done
Able to move between strategic problem solving and hands-on execution
Comfortable navigating messy workflows and translating them into scalable processes
Good judgment on when to automate, standardize, or redesign workflows
Collaboration & Communication
Strong cross-functional partnership skills across Operations, Product, Analytics, Engineering, and Leadership
Clear communicator who can bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
High ownership and bias toward execution
Mindset
Curious, pragmatic, and highly adaptable
Energized by building in ambiguity and solving operational problems
Interested in workflow design, automation, AI tooling, and operational scale
Comfortable balancing immediate execution with longer-term infrastructure thinking
**Healthcare or regulated-industry experience is a plus, but not required.
