- 2+ years industry experience
- Recently graduated candidates, post-doctoral candidates, and researchers with experience in national labs will be considered.
- Strong knowledge of electrochemistry and experience with electrochemical techniques such as CV, LSV, EIS and GITT
- Strong knowledge of electrochemical charge storage mechanisms
- Working knowledge of synthesis and characterization techniques for energy storage materials
- Working knowledge of performance additives for electrolytes
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct electrochemical characterizations using tools such as Biologic, Gamry, and PAR to analyze reaction chemistries.
- Investigate reaction pathways, identify material optimization strategies to improve performance.
- Evaluate KPIs for electrolytes and additives and devise strategies to improve performance.
- Involvement in advancing key R&D progress from electrochemical evaluation to pouch cell validation studies. This may involve assembling and testing pouch cells.
- Involvement in materials and electrolyte characterization, including cell teardowns. This may include tools such as XRD, XRF, XPS, SEM/EDX, and BET, among others.
- Collate test data and work with a team of engineers and scientists to analyze key findings.
