Opportunity for Impact

We're searching for an entrepreneurial, digitally-savvy Creative Lead to join our team and elevate our brand presence across all channels, with particular focus on digital and social platforms. Reporting directly to our VP of Marketing, this role combines hands-on creative execution with strategic vision, building out our creative capabilities from the ground up. You'll shape our brand voice, establish scalable processes, and create high-performing digital-first content while managing a network of freelance talent.

Role and Responsibilities

Core Creative & Brand Leadership:

  • Drive creative projects from concept to execution, ensuring every touchpoint reflects our brand quality and resonates with women in their prime
  • Create and oversee social-first creative that drives engagement and conversion across digital campaigns, social media, web, and email
  • Balance brand consistency with creative innovation, exploring emerging formats and content types that drive growth while staying ahead of platform trends
  • Execute key design work while building and managing a network of trusted freelance designers and writers

Process & Operations:

  • Develop and implement clear processes for creative briefs, project management, and quality control
  • Partner with Marketing leadership to identify needs and allocate resources effectively (self vs. freelance vs. future hires)
  • Create and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all touchpoints

Team & Stakeholder Management:

  • Cultivate partnerships with internal teams, fostering trust and collaboration through guidance and support
  • Build and manage a network of trusted freelance designers and writers, with focus on quality control and brand consistency
  • Build toward and lead an in-house creative team over the next year

Professional Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in creative roles, with significant focus on digital and social media
  • Deep expertise in creating scroll-stopping digital content optimized for each platform, combining strong visual storytelling with performance marketing savvy.
  • Track record of consistently delivering engaging social and email creative that drives both brand love and business results.
  • Proven track record in DTC, digital-first brands, or fast-growing startups
  • Experience managing and developing freelance talent and agency relationships.
  • Track record of both hands-on design execution and creative direction.
  • Demonstrated ability to build creative processes from scratch.
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate needs into creative solutions.
  • Proficiency in digital design tools and understanding of performance marketing needs
  • Strong understanding of how creativity drives business results in digital channels
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to balance giving and taking direction in a collaborative environment.
  • Portfolio showcasing dynamic, elevated, and forward-thinking design work.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary: $140,000-170,000
