Artsy is seeking a systems-oriented leader to own and evolve the vision of our Sales Operations Team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketplace Strategy and Operations, this role will oversee a broad scope of responsibilities supporting our sales and operations teams, including third-party systems infrastructure, data analytics, and AI-driven automations.
This is a hybrid role that blends strategic leadership, management, and hands-on execution: you’ll partner closely with senior leaders to define Artsy’s sales ops strategy while also rolling up your sleeves to deliver the roadmap and drive adoption across the organization.
This is a full-time hybrid role, with in-office attendance required 3 days a week.
What You’ll Do at Artsy:
Lead strategic roadmap planning and execution for Sales Operations, identifying opportunities that impact our ability to scale revenue and efficiency
Drive adoption of AI-powered automations and recommend use cases to increase efficiency across sales and operations
Build reporting dashboards and analytics to provide actionable insights on sales performance, pipeline health, and operational KPIs
Provide documentation, training, and change management to drive adoption of new processes and tools
Act as a thought partner to senior leadership, identifying gaps, architecting solutions, and balancing tradeoffs between tech debt, new initiatives, and build vs. buy decisions
Evolve Artsy’s sales systems ecosystem—including CRM, data platforms, integrations, and automation tools
Own external tooling including vendor selection, management, and renewal conversations
Own go-to-market motions for new tools, including adoption planning and cross-functional collaboration
Partner with leadership on revenue planning, forecasting, quota setting, and pipeline coverage modeling
Manage and mentor at least one direct report, with long-term potential to expand the team
Advocate for best practices in system design, governance, security, and privacy
This Role is a Fit For You if:
We welcome you to apply even if you don’t “check all the boxes.” We value unique backgrounds, transferable experience, and perspectives that challenge the status quo.
You have 6+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Systems, or Revenue Operations
You bring deep expertise in sales systems and infrastructure (CRM, data pipelines, integrations, and analytics platforms)
You have a strong understanding of sales motions and pipeline optimization
Experience migrating and consolidating systems
You’re familiar with AI/ML applications in Sales Operations (e.g., predictive forecasting, lead scoring, workflow automation)
You have 2+ years managing direct reports and/or technical contractors
You have strong project management and cross-functional communication skills, with proven success working across technical and non-technical stakeholders
You can zoom out to communicate vision to executives and zoom in to troubleshoot details with junior team members
You have technical skills (e.g., SQL, Python, APIs) to support system integrations, reporting, and automation
You have experience with vendor management, data privacy concepts (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), and the emerging RevOps tooling landscape
What success looks like in your first 3-6 months:
3 Months
Build strong working relationships with leaders across Sales, Operations, Engineering, Product, and Data
Assess the current state of Sales Operations systems, reporting, and processes; identify key opportunities for improvement
Define and socialize a clear near-term roadmap focused on the highest-impact opportunities for revenue scale and operational efficiency
Deliver early wins through improved dashboards, process documentation, and/or targeted automation
6 Months
Ship meaningful improvements to the Sales systems ecosystem (e.g., integrations, automation workflows, governance), with strong adoption across teams
Establish repeatable operating rhythms for reporting, tooling intake, prioritization, and change management
Partner effectively on forecasting, quota-setting, and pipeline coverage to support business planning
Set a long-term vision for scaling the Sales Operations function, including team growth and capability expansion
We know no one is a perfect match on paper, so if you’re passionate about this role, we’re excited to learn how your skills, experiences, and insights could make a difference.
