Our partner firm, A.J. Santye & Co. based in Somerville, NJ is hiring!

We’re seeking a motivated Staff Tax & Accounting Associate to join our growing CPA firm. This role is hands-on, with responsibilities across day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, tax preparation, and special projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and adjusting entries.

  • Prepare individual, partnership, corporate, trust, and multi-state tax returns.

  • Collaborate with supervisors and managers to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.

  • Contribute to process improvements and assist with special projects.


What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

  • CPA license or active CPA candidate (preferred).

  • 1–3 years of public accounting experience.

  • Experience with UltraTax CS, Checkpoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and Intuit products (preferred).

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.


This position operates as part of a US East Coast-based team, with typical working hours aligning with EST to facilitate effective collaboration. We offer flexibility in managing your schedule to maintain a healthy work-life balance while meeting business needs.

We are excited to invite talented individuals to join our dynamic team! This position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000-$85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
