About the Role

As a Senior Solutions Consultant, you'll be instrumental in shaping the future of healthcare technology at Fabric by serving as the primary technical advisor in the sales process. This is a unique chance to get on the ground floor of a fast-growing startup and truly define what it means to enable the health systems of the future to do their best work. You'll partner directly with prospective customers to lead technical discovery, design the solution path, and deliver compelling, customized demonstrations. You'll serve as a strategic bridge between our customers' most complex technical needs and our internal product and engineering teams. If you're motivated by improving patient and provider lives and thrive on the client-facing challenge of selling complex technical solutions, you'll find immense opportunity here.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Solutions Consultant, you will be instrumental in closing deals and ensuring the technical viability of every client engagement. Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Foster deep collaboration across internal teams and external healthcare stakeholders to ensure alignment, drive value, and deliver scalable solutions that meet complex clinical, operational, and technical needs.
  • Custom Demonstration & Value Alignment: Designing and delivering compelling, custom demonstrations and Proofs of Concept (POCs) that clearly align Fabric’s platform capabilities with the customer’s specific business and technical environment.
  • Solution Design & Integration: Serving as the pre-sales integration expert by designing and proposing solutions for data flows, system interoperability, and integration across customer EHRs (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and third-party APIs.
  • Trusted Technical Advisor: Serving as the trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, addressing technical security, integration, and configuration questions from technical buyers and C-suite executives.
  • Sales Enablement Documentation: Creating technical proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and solution diagrams for external audiences to support the sales motion and define the path to implementation.
  • Internal Advocacy: Collaborating with our internal product, engineering, security, and operations teams to advocate for customer-driven requirements and ensure our solutions and roadmaps meet market demand.
  • Compliance & Best Practices: Ensuring all proposed solutions align with HIPAA, HITRUST, and industry-current security standards.

Why You Might Be a Good Fit

  • You are a client-facing technical expert who excels at building trust and influencing complex sales decisions at the C-suite and technical buyer levels.
  • You thrive on the challenge of conducting deep technical discovery and translating ambiguity into a clear, compelling solution design.
  • You have a passion for custom demonstrations and using storytelling to clearly align technology products with business value.
  • You are a natural collaborator who can fluently communicate between external customers and internal engineering teams.
  • You are excited by the opportunity to join a fast-growing startup and directly impact revenue through technical solution leadership.

This Might Not Be The Right Fit If...

  • You prefer a role primarily focused on internal engineering or core product architecture.
  • You are not energized by a demo-heavy, client-facing schedule that requires extensive travel (estimated at 10%).
  • You are not comfortable working as the single technical expert responsible for influencing major purchasing decisions.
  • You do not have experience with the healthcare industry's unique challenges and regulatory frameworks.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a pre-sales or post-sales solutions role within the healthcare industry.
  • A solid understanding of SaaS platforms, cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS), and microservices architecture.
  • Experience in healthcare IT and familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner), HL7/FHIR standards, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise technology transformation initiatives and technical discovery sessions with customers.
  • Hands-on experience with integration platforms (e.g., Mulesoft, Boomi, Workato) and data strategy (ETL, warehousing, analytics).
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to conduct technical discovery with clients and present to a wide range of customer stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel, estimated at 10%.

Bonus Points

  • Familiarity with agile software development practices.
  • Background working in a startup or high-growth SaaS environment.
  • A technical or product design background, or a clinical background.
The national pay range for this role is $130,000.00– $160,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will be determined by factors such as the candidate's geographic market, experience, skills, and qualifications. Certain roles may also be eligible for additional compensation, including a comprehensive benefits package such as medical, dental, vision, unlimited PTO, and a 401(k) plan, stock options and bonuses.
