Senior Manager, Brand Marketing
Job Description
About the Position
Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a Senior Brand Marketing Manager to lead marketing planning and campaign execution across our Basketball (NBA & Collegiate) & Football (NFL & Collegiate) trading card portfolio. This is a high-impact role for a marketer with a deep understanding of sports fandom, a track record of brand marketing success, and a drive for executional excellence.
As part of the Brand & Product Marketing team, you will be responsible for building go-to-market plans, executing integrated campaigns, and collaborating across functions to deliver best-in-class marketing. You will also act as the primary marketing contact with both the NBA & NFL developing co-marketing programs and ensuring strong alignment across all licensed efforts.
This role is best suited for a marketer who thrives on getting things done — combining strategic planning and creative development with a strong bias toward execution and delivery.
What you will be doing…
- Leading the execution of product marketing efforts for the Basketball & Football portfolio, including planning, briefing, positioning, and execution of integrated global campaigns.
- Manage the annual Basketball & Football marketing calendar in close collaboration with Product, Creative, Commercial, Athlete Marketing, and Digital teams.
- Serve as the key marketing point of contact with the NBA & NFL, managing rights-holder relationships, aligning on strategic priorities, and unlocking impactful co-marketing opportunities.
- Fostering cross-functional alignment through regular updates, planning meetings, and centralized resource coordination across global and regional teams.
- Supporting brand marketing operations by optimizing workflows, planning processes, and project management systems that improve team efficiency.
- Partnering with Product teams to ensure alignment on strategy, product positioning, and go-to-market timing.
- Ensuring that all campaigns comply with brand standards and licensing requirements while bringing a solution-oriented, problem-solving mindset to campaign development.
- Campaign performance analysis using defined KPIs and share actionable insights with the broader organization to guide future planning.
- Develop and maintain toolkits and resources (e.g., calendars, asset trackers, presentation templates) that support operational consistency and transparency across teams.
What you will bring….
- 8+ years of experience in brand or product marketing, ideally in sports, entertainment, or consumer products.
- A deep understanding of sports culture and the NBA/NFL fan and collector ecosystem.
- Demonstrated experience managing licensed marketing programs and working with league or player associations (NBA or NFL experience a plus).
- Proven success in building and executing cross-functional marketing campaigns with a high bar for creativity and detail.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills; adept at influencing stakeholders and aligning teams across departments and regions.
- Highly organized and execution-focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with marketing metrics, dashboards, and campaign performance reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field; advanced degree a plus.
