Role Overview
As the HR Business Partner, you will enhance people practices to better grow next level player development and understand the multi-channel Fanatics business operations. The HRBP will assist with a variety of functions such as organizational development, talent development, employee relations, and employee training. You will play a critical role supporting all HR matters and contribute to company best practice in optimizing employee engagement and performance.
How you will make an impact:
- Assist with the design, implementation and administration of HR policies and procedures regarding salary administration, employment decisions, and employee development/training.
- Ensure all locations remain in compliance with applicable laws.
- Provide managers with HR guidance and support for the performance/salary review process.
- Collaborates with assigned client groups to support initiatives by understanding the organization's objectives, issues, needs, and key success factors. Participates in planning processes and promotes best practices; providing leadership for workforce planning efforts
- Has an in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management (coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions)
- Proactively identifies and addresses human resources challenges and opportunities, which may affect the execution of business plans
- Assists in the development of strategies for facilitating organizational and behavioral change
- Works with management in the development of high quality solutions, action plans, and appropriate metrics, which may include developing effective skills and competency structures, and systems in support of business goals and talent requirements
- Counsel and assist departments and managers on staff training and development, job assignments, performance appraisals, compensation reviews, disciplinary actions and promotions/transfers.
- Investigates complex employee relations issues, and initiates appropriate resolution; recommends and implements effective solutions consistent with our vision, mission and cultural values, applicable policies and laws
- Provides ongoing proactive analysis of the Organization’s health by analyzing trends in employee engagement/satisfaction, retention, etc
- Working with key metrics, continually reviewing respective functional management information; make recommendations based on data analysis
- Provide managers with HR guidance and support for the performance/salary review process.
- Perform other projects/assignments as assigned.

- Knowledge of HR administration procedures
- Knowledge of EEO and related labor laws
- Knowledge of job analysis
- Knowledge of employment laws affecting the workplace
- Proven ability to establish trust and build productive relationships at all levels of the organization; appropriate to our “One Fanatics” approach to people
- Recognized as a key resource for employees and managers who is approachable and effectively facilitates coaching conversations
- Excellent facilitation and oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prepare clear and concise reports and deliver formal presentations or training to all levels in the organization.
- A role model of excellent people-practice, leadership, coaching and motivational skills with a willingness to be hands-on as required in supporting the drive of HR behaviors
- Proven ability to deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience in effectively managing a range of tasks and priorities, simultaneously
