About the Role
Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Sales Representative is responsible for a variety of duties and responsibilities in support of the company’s Sales department including contacting potential customers, reporting and analyzing sales statistics, and confirming merchandise from sellers to be placed in auction, fixed price, and/or to be stored in our on-site vault.
The Sales Representative must demonstrate high-level abilities including problem solving skills.
This will mostly be a remote position but if commutable, there will be some in office hours. Details to be finalized with the Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct communication (phone, email, text, social media) with clients outlining and assisting with all of Fanatics Collect services through auctions, fixed price marketplace, private sales, and vault storage.
- Respond to issues and questions presented by direct clients pertaining to submissions, curation, invoices, and the buying and selling of assets.
- Knowledge of the current trends and timing within the trading card market.
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Operations, and Sales Support with day to day needs for clients.
- Maintain reports of asset submissions.
- Track data related to the final sales of assets.
- Facilitate private sales.
- Customer account maintenance.
- Onboard net new business to business partners.
- Working with business owners to help elevate their business.
- Travelling to trade shows.
- Responding with a sense of urgency.
- Elite customer service.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and navigate in a rapidly changing and fast-paced environment.
- Sales background preferred.
- Knowledge in the trading card industry.
- Ability to act with professionalism.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
