Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Director/Director of Marketing to serve as a marketing liaison between the Fanatics Live/Collect business and the broader Fanatics Collectibles organization.
This role is responsible for leading cross-functional coordination across key marketing functions to ensure that Fanatics Live and Fanatics Collect initiatives are supported and executed effieciently. This leader will oversee key programs, provide direction to integrated teams, and ensure clear objectives, strong collaboration, and a collector-first approach across all brand and product efforts. They will also represent the needs and goals of Fanatics Live/Collect in marketing planning conversations and external collaborations (e.g., league partners, agencies).
The deliverables of this position include the following:
- Align and activate cross-functional teams to support major initiatives, ensuring marketing programs are cohesive, timely, and effective.
- Serve as a key business partner between Fanatics Live/Collect and Topps stakeholders.
- Champion the collector-first perspective across every touchpoint and initiative.
This position will be responsible for handling a wide variety of duties, which include, but are not limited to the ones listed below.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accountable for marketing budget management for Live/Collect Marketing initiatives, collaborating with relevant teams to ensure alignment and effective resource allocation.
- Adapt and align strategic Brand/Product Marketing priorities to ensure cohesive execution and shared objectives across both businesses.
- Partner with Global Experiential team, agencies, and external partners to define marketing requirements and ensure seamless, high-quality event execution.
- Partner with Global Social team to implement integrated social media strategies and campaigns.
- Collaborate on content strategy and planning for Fanatics Live/Collect.
EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- 10+ years marketing experience in high-pace environment with a high-profile brand.
- Ability to develop and maintain key relationships.
- Ability to work directly with Executive Leadership.
- Strong planning, prioritization, budgetary and project management competencies.
- Track record of innovation and delivering results against tight deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentation.
- Passionate about sports and consumer brands and knowledge of the trading card and collectibles space.
In New York, the salary range for this position is $168,000-$210,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. In Los Angeles, the salary range is $155,000-$193,000. These salary ranges are specific to Los Angeles or NYC and may not be applicable to other locations. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
