The Strategic Initiatives Manager will serve as a cross-functional problem solver and strategic leader, driving high-priority initiatives that sit at the intersection of Strategy, Analytics, Benefits, CRM, and Partnerships. This role will support the Loyalty leadership team by owning special projects, coordinating enterprise-wide efforts, and standing up net-new capabilities until they are operationalized within the team. The ideal candidate is highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and thrives in ambiguous environments where structure and process need to be built from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Lead special projects and cross-functional initiatives for the Loyalty team, including pilots and new experience concepts.
- Identify and size new growth opportunities for Fanatics ONE and FanCash, shaping early-stage strategy and investment recommendations.
- Develop business cases and strategic frameworks for new loyalty initiatives, evaluating fan impact, cost efficiency, and long-term scalability.
- Manage one-off enterprise projects that require both strategic framing and operational execution.
- Support FanCash and Fanatics ONE integration efforts across business units (Commerce, Collectibles, Gaming, Events), ensuring alignment and execution consistency.
- Partner with Strategy & Ops to translate data and insights into actionable recommendations for the loyalty roadmap and reinvestment strategy.
- Act as an internal consultant for Loyalty, tackling ambiguous growth questions and providing structured recommendations to leadership.
Experience and Skills
- 4-6 years of experience in consulting, business operations, strategy, or program management, ideally within loyalty, gaming, sports, or consumer technology.
- Strong problem solver with proven ability to develop strategic recommendations and business cases.
- Exceptional project management skills, with experience managing multiple complex initiatives.
- Strong communicator with experience preparing and presenting executive-level strategy materials.
- Solid analytical skills, with the ability to partner with data teams and interpret findings into actionable insights.
- Highly collaborative team player with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; MBA a plus.
Salary range is listed in USD; ranges will change based on country and state of residence, which are reflected in Geographical Zones defined by Fanatics Betting and Gaming. *Salary Range: $130,000 to $150,000 (Salary range incorporates all of our Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change as the Zone associated with the actual Offer is confirmed).
