The Manager of Analytics, Agile Supply Chain Optimization and Execution will lead cross-functional initiatives that leverage advanced analytics and AI—to drive agile execution across the Fanatics supply chain. This role focuses on optimizing inventory flow, reducing operational costs, and enhancing service levels through intelligent automation, predictive insights, and autonomous decision-making. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and excels at translating data into scalable actions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Agile Execution Leadership
- Drive analytics-based execution of agile supply chain strategies across distribution, sourcing, production and inventory flow.
- Enable rapid response to demand shifts, supply disruptions, and promotional activity through real-time insights.
- Inventory Flow Optimization
- Use AI-driven models to streamline inventory movement across distribution centers, on-demand manufacturing, and third party (3P) partners.
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies and implement autonomous workflows to improve flow and reduce dwell time.
- Cost Reduction Initiatives
- Apply machine learning and Agentic AI to uncover cost-saving opportunities in labor, production, storage and inventory holding.
- Support strategic sourcing and allocation decisions that minimize waste and maximize margin.
- Service Level Enhancement
- Monitor and improve key service metrics such as order cycle time, fill rate, and in-stock using predictive analytics.
- Partner with operations teams to ensure inventory availability aligns with customer expectations and business goals.
- End-to-end Supply Chain Efficiency
- Leverage analytical solutions to understand and optimize Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) order orchestration, distribution and production prioritization, and exception handling.
- Use intelligent analytics to reduce order lead times, improve accuracy, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Enable autonomous decision-making for procurement triggers based on real-time inventory and demand signals.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Merch Planning, Operations, and Technology teams to align analytics with execution priorities.
- Act as a strategic partner in translating business needs into actionable supply chain solutions.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Develop AI-powered dashboards and reporting tools to track execution metrics, identify trends, and support continuous improvement.
- Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Process Automation & Innovation
- Champion automation of analytics workflows and decision-support tools using Agentic AI and intelligent agents.
- Pilot emerging technologies that enhance agility, scalability, and autonomous supply chain execution.
- Ad-hoc Analysis & Strategic Projects
- Support special initiatives with deep-dive analytics, scenario modeling, and AI-driven simulations.
- Contribute to long-term agile supply chain transformation through experimentation and strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Science, or related field; MS or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience
- 5+ years in supply chain analytics, strategy, or operations roles, ideally in eCommerce or retail.
- 2+ years of proven success in leading agile execution projects and/or cross-functional initiatives.
- Technical Skills
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and analytics platforms (e.g., Python, R).
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, MicroStrategy) and enterprise systems.
- Experience with Supply chain planning platforms (e.g., o9 solutions, Kinaxis)
- Familiarity with AI/ML platforms and Agentic AI frameworks for autonomous decision-making.
