Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized Sales Operations Coordinator dedicated to supporting the Japan market. This role is critical to ensuring operational efficiency, smooth product launches, and strong coordination between internal teams and Japan-based partners, retailers, and distributors.

The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of Japan’s commercial landscape, strong operational discipline, and the ability to facilitate communication across functions to support the growth of Fanatics Collectibles in Japan. This is a full time role, in the designated office 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

1. Japan Product Launch Coordination

  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional alignment for all new product launches in Japan.
  • Adapt global product launch plans to Japan-specific retail calendars, compliance requirements, and partner needs.
  • Ensure sales, marketing, pricing, and logistics teams are aligned on Japan-specific execution details.

2. Sales Operations & Documentation (Japan Focus)

  • Maintain accurate sales and operational documentation for Japan, including orders, invoices, compliance materials, and product information.
  • Ensure high standards of accuracy and consistency across Japan-related data points and reporting.

3. Partner & Retailer Support

  • Act as the primary operational point of contact for Japan distributors, retailers, and commercial partners.
  • Provide partners with timely sales information, product specifications, data templates, and launch materials.
  • Support the Japan Sales Director with operational follow-through and partner communication.

4. Order Management & Inventory Coordination

  • Oversee Japan-specific order entry, invoice accuracy, and coordination with third-party logistics providers.
  • Monitor order flow, inventory allocations, delivery timelines, and identify any issues affecting Japan customer fulfillment.

5. Japan Sales Reporting & Forecasting

  • Prepare recurring and ad-hoc Japan sales reports and dashboards.
  • Support demand planning and sales forecasting processes tailored to Japan’s market dynamics.
  • Improve visibility, accuracy, and structure of Japan market data across internal systems.

6. Timeline Management for Japan Deliverables

  • Track and manage all deadlines related to Japan launches, retail submissions, promotional activities, and sales programs.
  • Ensure cross-functional teams meet Japan-specific timelines and follow standardized processes.

7. Japan-Focused Process Improvement

  • Identify operational bottlenecks unique to Japan’s business environment.
  • Develop and implement workflow enhancements to drive greater efficiency and accuracy in sales operations.
  • Champion best practices that improve speed, reliability, and partner experience in the Japan market.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in sales operations, commercial support, or regional coordination—with direct experience supporting the Japan market strongly preferred.
  • Fluency in Japanese and English (written and verbal) required.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications; experience with ERP or business management systems is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational discipline.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating across teams and cultures.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt within a fast-paced, evolving environment.
