Strategic Sourcing Analyst is responsible for managing all aspects of the costing process through the factory as well as TPA Strategic sourcing team. This guy will work collaboratively with TPA sourcing team on the sourcing strategy, sourcing capabilities including seasonal vendor allocation to achieve the margin goals. This role involves closely work with factory to standardize the cost structure including cost matrix, SMS & Production Leadtime strategically.

Duties and responsibilities

• Responsible of Seasonal garment FOB through Protos, cost options, cost negotiation with the factory to hit the company’s margin goal.
• Work with PD to see any possible cost reduction through some detail changes if margin challenge.
• Update Sourcing Tracker and upload Cost sheets to BOX for cross functional team’s need.
• Seasonal final FOB completion (revised FOB after Production TP Buy Ready) reflecting commodity update if need.
• Work on Re-sourcing and cost exercise if any request from TPA.
• Collecting each factory’s update for Seasonal matrix update yearly basis (Print/ Embroidery/ Packaging/ Garment Testing, etc)
• Training / updated costing procedure/ requirement for current vendors, included sharing the vendor costing performance to encourage the costing improvement, 2 times a year (ie. before Spring and Fall Starting)

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3-7 years related experience in apparel or headwear development & costing.
• Technical Knowledge of fabric/trim/construction and product engineering.
• Strong communication and Problem solving skills.
• A team player with good attitude & communication.
• Advanced Excel skill.
• Must be detail-oriented, able to multitask & punctual in meeting deadlines.
• Willing and able to travel extensively, often to foreign and/or remote locations.
• Ability to juggle multiple deadlines and tasks in a fast environment. Strong sense of urgency and intuitive sense of priorities and accuracy.
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Thai is required.
