ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to take responsibility for key areas of the management accounts. This is a key role within the finance and accounting function with the main aim to deliver accurate financial information adhering with all compliance standards and within the deadlines required.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Own the financial end to end process for key business areas.
  • Support the CFO in the auditing process
  • Ensure all month end duties are carried out on time in line with deadlines set by US parent.
  • Support in on boarding new partners/customers/suppliers where relevant.
  • Complete all relevant balance sheet reconciliations accurately and in full, in a timely manner.
  • Provide critical support during the year end audit process.
  • To support the preparation and submission of the statutory accounts for required entities.
  • Provide critical and technical support in ensuring accurate and suitable controls and procedures are in place.
  • Provide key support during implementation of system improvements.
  • Support the CFO in budget and forecasting processes for P&L/Balance Sheet/Cashflow
  • Support the CFO as and when required in treasury functions such as daily cash reporting and forecasting.
  • Supporting other team members are required during busy times and holidays.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with strong experience within international organisations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ideally experience of working with, or in US listed or PE backed businesses
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time to meet deadlines
  • Ability to liaise with staff at all levels, and work with external advisors where relevant
  • Maintain integrity of financial records via strong controls
  • Experience of financial system implementation desired
  • Strong excel skills, experience of Microsoft Dynamics d365/Oracle would be a benefit, but not essential
