We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to lead development of complex desktop applications that sit at the intersection of wireless medical devices, mobile apps, and cloud APIs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives working across hardware, software, and ML-driven systems and is excited to work on products that push beyond the limitations of today’s healthcare technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Build performant, functional, and robust desktop applications in React, TypeScript, Rust, Python, and C++
• Drive architectural improvements, CI/CD automation, and code quality for our application stack
• Collaborate with firmware, cloud backend, and mobile app engineers to deliver complex, full-stack telemedicine features

You’re the right candidate if you have

• Deep React + TypeScript experience, with Python and Rust experience preferred
• Comfort working with hardware, firmware interfaces, or wireless devices
• You have an all-in mindset, enjoy owning big pieces of the stack and making things happen quickly
• A collaborative mindset, comfortable working cross-functionally across hardware + software + ML teams

Preferred experience

• Experience with web dev for supporting marketing and ops needs
• Experience shipping Electron or Electron-like React desktop apps
• Experience building internal full-stack tools
• Experience in telemedicine, digital health, or other regulated products

The target base salary range for this position is $150,000–$250,000 annually, with actual compensation determined by level, experience, and qualifications. Total compensation includes stock options and a generous benefits package. This role is based in New York City and follows a hybrid schedule, with employees expected to work from the office three days per week.
