About the role
The Senior Specialist, Network Recruitment role plays a crucial role in maintaining network adequacy and fostering growth through administration of new provider contracting lifecycle. This involves supporting the development and implementation of market strategies through diligent and thorough management of Oscar's in-flight provider contracts data. The Senior Specialist, Network Recruiting role specialist ensures seamless operations and cultivates strong relationships via collaboration with internal departments and external providers to guarantee the accuracy and completeness of new provider contracts.
You will report to the Senior Manager, Network Development.

This is a remote/in-field position with travel up to 15%.

Pay Transparency:
The base pay for this role is: $69,120 - $90,720 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Utilize demographic data for current out-of-network providers to create recruitment lists, targeting network adequacy based on geography, specialty, or member demographics.
- Support the preparation, review, and execution of provider contracts and Letters of Agreement.
- Collaborate with the Provider Recruitment team to address provider inquiries, concerns, and data-related contracting inquires
- Oversees the “Request to Join” process and the “Join Our Network” mailbox to identify new provider contracts promptly and assign them efficiently.
- Generate reports and summaries concerning provider contract data updates and network status, incorporating changes from various sources (mail, fax, electronic, etc.).
- Coordinate with different departments to collect provider contract data for setting up providers in enterprise data systems, including system configuration, provider directory, and credentialing processes.
- Maintain and verify provider contracting data in the network database and assist other departments with ongoing contract updates.
- Provide support for special projects to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the provider contracting database.
- Offer administrative assistance, including screening and researching incoming provider requests from multiple communication platforms.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and improve the provider experience.
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications
- Associate's degree or 2+ years of relevant experience
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in healthcare contract coordination, provider relations, or a similar role within a managed care environment.
- 1+ years of experience in Microsoft Office or Google Suites, with strong knowledge of Excel/Sheets.
- 1+ years of experience prioritizing and managing cross-functional projects
Bonus Points
- 1+ years experience in provider relations, provider services or provider recruiting, and working cross-functionally to drive growth and expansion in one or more geographical areas
- Process improvement principles
- Familiarity with provider directories or provider network data

Pay Transparency: Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
