About Savvy:

Wealth management is a $545 billion industry in the US, yet remains archaic and inefficient with low technology penetration. 75% of financial advisors don’t offer digital communication beyond email, and 62% still build financial plans manually in Excel. This leads to a poor client experience and results in financial advisors spending over 70% of their time on non-client facing, manual work.

Savvy is changing that. We’re building the most advisor-centric platform in wealth management: a digital-first solution that modernizes human financial advice. Advisors who partner with Savvy tap into AI-powered software, automated sales and marketing, and seamless back office workflows to scale faster and spend more time with clients.

We’ve raised over $105M to date from Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, Canvas Ventures, Mark Casady (former LPL Financial CEO), and other top-tier investors. Our team is made up of repeat founders and operators who’ve helped build Airbnb, Square, Brex, Carta, Facebook, $200B+ RIAs, and more.

Savvy is at a pivotal point in its growth trajectory, having established a strong product-market fit in providing a modern platform to financial advisors. We’ve surpassed $2.2 billion in AUM in less than three years, grown 600%+ in the last 18 months, and are entering the next phase of the company which involves rapid expansion of our product offering and continued revenue growth. Come help us scale!

The Role:

We’re seeking a creative, strategic, and execution-oriented Content Marketing Lead to own and scale our content program within our Advisor Marketing function. This role sits at the intersection of storytelling, brand building, and demand generation. You’ll be responsible for shaping our content strategy, managing our editorial calendar, and producing compelling content that resonates with financial advisors, end clients, and industry stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is both a sharp writer and an insightful thinker; someone who’s excited to uncover emerging trends, elevate executive perspectives, and create content that challenges convention in a thoughtful way. This is a highly collaborative role that reports into the Head of Business Development and Strategy and works closely with marketing, sales, product, and company leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute a multi-channel content strategy spanning blogs, whitepapers, videos, newsletters, executive bylines, and social media

  • Develop high-impact thought leadership and lead magnets that drive brand authority and qualified leads

  • Partner closely with brand and demand gen teams to ensure content aligns with campaign goals and brand voice

  • Write, edit, and manage production of long- and short-form content tailored to advisors, prospects, and industry influencers

  • Collaborate with company executives to ghostwrite and elevate their voices across earned and owned channels

  • Maintain a content calendar that supports integrated marketing campaigns and product launches

  • Stay attuned to industry trends, competitive positioning, and regulatory shifts to inform and inspire content

  • Optimize content for SEO and conversion, with a focus on performance metrics and ROI

  • Source and manage freelance or agency resources as needed for scalable production

  • Support video content development in partnership with design and production teams

Must have:

  • 4-10 years of experience in content marketing, editorial, or communications roles

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates clarity, creativity, and business impact

  • Experience writing for or on behalf of executives, particularly in financial services or B2B industries

  • Proven track record managing content strategy and execution across multiple channels

  • Strong research and synthesis skills—the ability to dig into an industry and surface insights that fuel standout content

  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage projects from concept through publication

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment

Nice to have:

  • Experience at a high-growth startup or tech-enabled services company

  • Background in or familiarity with the wealth management, fintech, or RIA industry

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and content performance measurement

  • Experience developing video content, either as a producer or in collaboration with video teams
