You will:

  • Consistently produce high-quality, high-volume geospatial data annotations
  • Mentor more junior Geospatial AI Trainers on understanding geospatial imagery
  • Communicate with your Geospatial AI Team Lead to identify and address poor quality trends and assist in developing necessary training
  • Work closely with the Geospatial Production Manager to optimize and improve the efficiency of the production team
  • Learn from geospatial intelligence subject matter experts (SME) during training sessions to improve your knowledge and ability to accurately produce high-quality annotations

Ideally you'd have:

  • An active U.S. security clearance
  • 3+ years of geospatial experience including Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Electro-Optical (EO) data modalities
  • A “what can I do to make this better” mindset
  • A strong team player mentality with excellent collaboration skills
  • Be able to commit to 40 hours per week in one of our St. Louis AI Center facilities

Nice to haves:

  • Educational background in geospatial information systems (GIS) or Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), such as a degree in GIS, or graduated from a Basic Military Imagery Analysis course (or equivalent training)
  • Experience leading small teams
  • Strong computer skills (Excel / Google Sheets; knack for learning software quickly)
  • SQL knowledge

Compensation packages at Scale for eligible roles include base salary, equity, and benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position, determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and relevant education or training. Scale employees in eligible roles are also granted equity based compensation, subject to Board of Director approval. The base salary range for this full-time position in the location of St. Louis is:
$28$38.48 USD
