About us
At Sierra, we’re creating a platform to help businesses build better, more human customer experiences with AI. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices in Atlanta, New York, London, France, Singapore, and Japan.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and Family. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor and Clay Bavor. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
What You'll Do:
Marketing generalist. This is a small but mighty team, so no task is too small or too strategic. You’ll own everything from briefing creative and securing venues to drafting copy and analysing results. You’re excited to shape Sierra’s presence in the UK and thrive in ambiguity as we scale.
Field marketing and events. With our SF-based events team and local events agency, we plan and execute 3-4 in-region events per quarter—from hospitality events to third-party conferences. You’ll own the UK event calendar, working across internal stakeholders and local vendors to deliver polished, high-impact experiences that deepen engagement with key accounts and buyers.
Cross-functional partnership. Aligned to our UK Head of Sales, work closely with our London-based sales team to support account engagement and pipeline. You’ll support territory-specific plays, and localise content for UK prospects. You’ll also partner with our SF-based campaigns, events, brand, creative, and ops teams to adapt content and track results.
Campaigns (Industry & Buyer). Build and execute UK-specific integrated marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and support early pipeline. Working with the Head of Marketing for Europe and Campaigns led you will adapt global campaign frameworks for the local market and own end-to-end campaign planning, including tactics across paid social, digital advertising, out-of-home (OOH), email, and tactics that surround events.
What You'll Bring:
7+ years of B2B marketing experience at high-growth SaaS or AI companies, plus experience in integrated campaigns and field marketing, with a strong grasp of multi-channel planning and execution.
Comfortable leading projects from strategy to execution—“soup to nuts”—with high attention to detail and expertise in Salesforce and Slack as well as willingness to learn new demand generation tools.
Experience managing external vendors (e.g., event producers, local contractors), and coordinating with agency partners managed by the SF team.
Strategic problem solver with strong analytical skills, plus able to synthesise data into meaningful campaign insights and optimise strategies for new and existing initiatives.
A strong understanding or previous experience marketing to our core-buyers (CX, IT, Product, Ops) and across key-industries (Retail, Media/Telecommunications, Financial Services, Travel + Hospitality) and experience in product marketing and tailoring messaging to CX buyers and industries, or working with ABM-style personalisation is a major plus.
Events experience is a major plus—you know what it takes to deliver a memorable, effective in-person experience and ability to build beautiful presentations using Google Slides and Keynote.
Sample Projects:
In collaboration with the SF-based events team and local agency, plan and execute third-party events such as CCW Summit UK or ancillary events around Mobile World Congress. This includes everything from logistics and onsite presence to lead capture, with the goal being to drive brand-awareness and generate leads in the region.
Manage a UK-specific brand awareness campaign leveraging digital, OOH, and PR—tailored for London-based CX buyers.
Coordinate with our paid-media agency to adapt a global paid media campaign to the UK audience and buying cycle.
Support sales and build personalised digital asset hubs for Top accounts in collaboration with the SF-based abm team.

Our values
Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.
