SKIMS is seeking an experienced Email & SMS marketing leader to grow our customer communications channels. Reporting into the SVP of eCommerce this individual will manage a team to grow the SKIMS.com CRM database and optimize performance of Email, SMS and Push channels.

- Channel ownership across all email, SMS & push campaign programs for SKIMS engaging prospects & customers
- Establish channel-level targets relative to broader business objectives and robust reporting to track performance trends
- Own marketing calendar in partnership with brand marketing for all email, sms & push campaigns to support product launches & core collection features
- Lead any discovery and contracting of new CRM tools; defining requirements and managing to channel budgets
- Partner closely with Loyalty team to support loyalty campaigns & 1-1 customer communications
- List growth: implement strategies to grow email & SMS lists, push notification approvals and loyalty subscriptions– maintaining healthy deliverability and engaged cohorts through consistent list hygiene practices
- Segmentation strategy: Develop & implement segmentation strategies across all communication channels, with a consistent test & learn approach
- Batch email / sms program: utilize disciplined A/B testing program to consistently determine optimal send times, subject lines, creative formats and personalization elements for calendarized batch emails & sms, with the goal of improving open rates, click rates and revenue per send
- Trigger email / sms program: optimize existing trigger series to maximize purchase frequency, while introducing new trigger experiences to optimize subscriber engagement
- Push: determine optimal strategy for mobile push notifications to optimize mobile app engagement & sales
- Transactional: Business owner (in collaboration with other departments) of SKIMS transactional communications within email & SMS. Own customer touchpoint mapping and continued optimization of customer communications
- Reporting: Develop robust performance monitoring across all channels, presenting learnings to exec stakeholders
- Will lead team of 2 and work directly with: Brand marketing, graphic design, data & analytics, ecommerce, site merchandising, performance marketing
- 8+ years focused experience in CRM/Email marketing/Lifecycle Marketing in-house or agency
- Demonstrated experience growing substantial CRM list volume (5M+) and managing complex multi-channel lifecycle marketing programs
- Data-first mindset to building reporting dashboards and extracting performance learnings to guide marketing strategies
- Strong technical acumen, able to troubleshoot integration logic, trigger workflows, tagging & reporting issues and work directly with developers on relevant projects
- Base level HTML, SQL or similar
- Experience building complex A/B testing roadmaps across all aspects of retention channels (segmentation, copy, creative, send times, personalization etc)
- Comfortable working autonomously to drive initiatives with cross-departmental leads
- Customer-obsessed, ability to consider “big picture” objectives to improve experience for SKIMS customers
- Must be in LA (3x week in-office)
