Who we are
About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team
One of the company’s most important strategic priorities is to build great products and experiences for Enterprises – and we are at an inflection point in the growth of our Enterprise business, with significant momentum.
The Enterprise team is responsible for ensuring all of Stripe’s products and services best fit the unique needs of global, modernizing enterprises. Our Enterprise Product extends beyond our APIs and dashboards – to Enterprise executive engagement, our perception in the market, our partner ecosystem, how we collaborate with our users to bring them live, and our users’ day-to-day interactions with our support teams – they’re all part of the Product experience for these users.
We focus on expanding and innovating on Stripe’s platform in ways that help the largest and most complex customers run their businesses. Our work is highly-cross functional – partnering with almost every other team at Stripe – to execute on the priorities that matter most to Enterprises and ensure that they are successful on Stripe.
What you’ll do
As the Program Manager, Enterprise on the Enterprise Strategy & Operations team, you will be building the infrastructure, processes, and organizational muscle to help our Enterprise business scale. You will be leading the charge to help us execute on strategic and highly cross-functional programs that our team is tasked with incubating and running.
- You will run a small portfolio of programs, ensuring that they are executed at a high level with all workstreams delivering high quality results, keeping the bar high for communications, and providing strategic guidance and leadership.
- You will take ownership over setting the right goals, establishing the operating cadences, and using your judgment to iterate on how we run these first-of-kind programs.
- In the first 90 days, you’ll specifically take on ownership of 2 programs that ladder up to our key priorities: (1) running our Enterprise new logo sales plays in collaboration with the GTM team; and (2) running our Migrations program in collaboration with our product team.
Responsibilities
- Partner with multiple stakeholders across Enterprise and other Stripe teams (e.g., product teams, marketing, sales, support) to achieve the goals of the Enterprise Engine Catalyst; you will need to objectively evaluate teams’ competing priorities and align stakeholders on the optimal solution for Stripe and our users
- Drive user–facing interactions like kickoff calls and program updates, when appropriate
- Critically evaluate upcoming launches and deliverables, determine the actions required to maximize the impact of these ships, and tactically coordinate those actions
- Lead from the front in cross-functional communications and forums, with frequent and proactive communications that bring every team along; run meetings excellently
- Measure and share the impact of the team’s work
- Take on special projects that could involve revamping / evolving processes
- Be willing to roll up your sleeves and fill gaps on the team to ensure our programs run smoothly and deliver results for users
In your first 6 months: You will manage (1) a user-facing program to operationalize our GTM sales plays; and (2) a program for enterprises who are undertaking complex migrations onto Stripe that need to be handled in a secure and predictable way.
