Web Producer, SEO and Global Web Presence
Stripe
Who we are
About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team
The Design team works across most projects at Stripe—from our brand standards to campaigns, events, digital products, and even printed publications. And since Stripe’s main audience is other people who build products, we agonize over and take pride in crafting user-friendly and user-focused experiences.
The Web Presence & Platform (WPP) team is responsible for Stripe.com and our other digital, consumer-facing properties. We are a group of interactive designers, front-end specialists, web strategists, platform engineers, and every skill set in-between. We design and build what is, for many, their first impression of Stripe. We want to make every pixel count, we want it to be enthralling, and we want to help other Stripes seamlessly benefit from our systematic work.
What you’ll do
Producers at Stripe demonstrate passion for great design and flawless execution. They’re experts in expanding, evolving, defining, and documenting flexible systems and processes that achieve bar-raising quality and consistency for stripe.com and other Stripe-owned platforms. The ideal candidate excels at keeping the work on track while maintaining (and raising) the quality bar. They offer options and tradeoffs, crisply articulate decisions, iterate quickly, and collaborate seamlessly with cross functional partners, designers, engineers, and more. We’re looking for a Producer with experience overseeing the production of high-quality web deliverables with a focus on SEO strategy, global content execution, and web localization. This role will play a key part in how Stripe manifests online around the world—leaning into regional nuances, supporting transcreation efforts, and driving discoverability through thoughtful SEO practices. You’ll also act as the first line of support and escalation for EMEA-based individual contributors (ICs) across design, engineering, and more—serving as a key in-region resource to keep projects unblocked and moving forward, in close collaboration with their US-based managers.
Responsibilities
- Effectively manage and oversee the day-to-day production of web deliverables and projects related to SEO improvements, localized content, and international user journeys.
- Partner closely with design, engineering, content, and marketing teams to deliver engaging, polished, and culturally resonant web experiences for global audiences.
- Ensure that regional considerations and transcreated content are accurately and meaningfully represented across web surfaces.
- Partner with Data teams to review and interpret global web performance metrics, using insights to inform recommendations and drive continuous improvements across international web experiences.
- Identify and proactively mitigate project risks, escalating issues to the Head of WPP Operations when necessary.
- Maintain accurate project management systems, including timelines, budgets, and task tracking, to ensure project status is always clear to the team.
- Serve as an in-region escalation and support resource for EMEA-based ICs—helping to navigate blockers, align on priorities, and advocate for their needs.
- Develop and nurture strong stakeholder relationships, providing regular updates on project status and seeking input from other teams to ensure project success.
- Continuously improve team processes and methodologies by implementing industry best practices and collaborating with other teams to advance overall Events & Stripe OKRs.
Who you are
We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.
Minimum requirements
- You bring a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in integrated production for tech-driven companies or agencies.
- A Producer mindset, combining aspects of project and product management, with a focus on both outcomes and outputs.
- Demonstrated experience delivering polished, discoverable, and globally relevant web experiences.
- Strong planning and execution skills, with the ability to translate strategic goals into scalable roadmaps.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments and managing iterative, cross-functional production work.
Preferred qualifications
- You have experience with SEO strategy, internationalization, and/or localization, and understand how to adapt web content in ways that resonate across cultures and markets.
- You bring a keen eye for detail, an enthusiasm for continuous improvement, and a genuine passion for delivering world-class web experiences at a global scale.
- You’re adept at empowering cross-functional teams to cultivate a collaborative culture that emphasizes quality and high performance—especially across distributed time zones and disciplines.
- You have a proven track record of delivering impactful web experiences, particularly for global audiences or other high-visibility initiatives that require regional sensitivity and precision.
- Your experience includes leveraging data analytics, user feedback, and market research to drive informed decisions and continuously optimize web experiences for diverse global audiences—all while maintaining a sharp awareness of regional nuances and cultural sensitivities.
- Collaboration comes naturally to you, especially when it involves partnering closely with designers, engineers, content strategists, and marketing teams to produce exceptional deliverables.
- You’re comfortable acting as a connective tissue across teams—supporting others, unblocking work, and fostering a culture of learning and growth among team members.
- Your approach to work is characterized by a willingness to take creative risks, always prioritizing a user-first mindset to strike a balance between speed, quality, and carefully crafted outcomes.
- Communication is one of your strengths: you're highly organized, a clear presenter, and effective at conveying progress, processes, and decisions—while actively integrating feedback from stakeholders.
This role is available either in an office or a remote location (typically, 35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office).
Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.
A remote location, in most cases, is defined as being 35 miles (56 kilometers) or more from one of our offices. While you would be welcome to come into the office for team/business meetings, on-sites, meet-ups, and events, our expectation is you would regularly work from home rather than a Stripe office. Stripe does not cover the cost of relocating to a remote location. We encourage you to apply for roles that match the location where you currently or plan to live.
The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is €70,800 - €106,200. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
Specific benefits and details about what compensation is included in the salary range listed above will vary depending on the applicant’s location and can be discussed in more detail during the interview process. Benefits/additional compensation for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; retirement plans; health benefits; and wellness stipends.
