Hi, we're The Browser Company 👋 and we're building a better way to use the internet.

Browsers are unique in that they are one of the only pieces of software that you share with your parents as well as your kids. Which makes sense, they're our doorway to the most important things — through them we socialize with loved ones, work on our passion projects, and explore our curiosities. But on their own, they don’t actually do a whole lot, they’re kind of just there. They don’t help us organize our messy lives or make it easier to compose our ideas. We believe that the browser could do so much more — it can empower and support the amazing things we do on the internet. That’s why we’re building one: a browser that can help us grow, create, and stay curious.

To accomplish this lofty task, we’re building a diverse team of people from different backgrounds and experiences. This isn’t optional, it’s crucial to our mission, as we need a wide range of perspectives to challenge our assumptions and shape our browser through a bold, creative lens. With that in mind, we especially encourage women, people of color, and others from historically marginalized groups to apply.

About The Role

As an Executive Assistant for Engineering at Browser Company, you will be the organizational backbone for our engineering leaders, ensuring their days run smoothly and efficiently. You’ll manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings, and prioritize time so our leaders can focus on building the future of browsing. This is a hybrid role based in our Williamsburg, Brooklyn office, with in-office presence required 3 days per week.

Overall you will…

  • Own and manage the day-to-day calendars for engineering leadership, including scheduling meetings, resolving conflicts, and ensuring optimal use of time.

  • Coordinate internal and external meetings, including team syncs, 1:1s, interviews, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Anticipate scheduling needs and proactively resolve conflicts or last-minute changes.

  • Serve as a point of contact for scheduling requests and communications for the engineering leadership team.

  • Support logistics for team events and special projects as needed.

  • Handle sensitive information with a high-standard of confidentiality and discretion.

After 1 month you will…

  • Have built strong working relationships with engineering leaders and key stakeholders.

  • Fully own the calendar management process, ensuring priorities are clear and meetings are scheduled efficiently.

  • Understand the rhythms and routines of the engineering team and anticipate their needs.

After 3 months you will…

  • Proactively identify and implement improvements to scheduling workflows and communication processes.

  • Be a trusted partner to engineering leadership, helping them stay focused and organized.

  • Seamlessly coordinate complex meetings and events with multiple stakeholders.

After 6 months you will…

  • Be the go-to expert for all things scheduling and logistics for the engineering leadership team.

  • Anticipate and resolve challenges before they arise, keeping the team running smoothly.

  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or in a similar support role in a tech or start-up environment.

  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • You have excellent communication skills and can build strong relationships across teams.

  • You are comfortable managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing needs.

  • You’re excited about supporting a mission-driven team and helping shape the future of how we use the internet.

  • You resonate with our company values.

  • You’re pragmatic, motivated by nebulous problems, and excited to work in a startup environment with quick product validation cycles.

  • This is a hybrid role based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, with in-office presence required 3 days per week.
